A ratchet strap (also known as a cargo strap, tie-down strap, or lashing strap) is a durable, adjustable strap designed to secure and stabilize loads during transportation or storage. Typically made from high-strength polyester webbing with metal or plastic fittings, it features a ratchet mechanism or buckle system for tightening and tensioning. Lashing straps are widely used in logistics, construction, and cargo handling to prevent shifting or damage to goods.
